About Trucking Wellness
Trucking Wellness is an initiative of the National Bargaining Council for the Road Freight and Logistics Industry (NBCRFLI). It is a primary healthcare delivery system dedicated to the wellness of truck drivers and their partners, sex workers, and other communities along the transport corridors of Southern Africa.
The programme provides a comprehensive range of services aimed at preventing and treating chronic diseases, including HIV/AIDS, STIs, and TB.

NBCRFLI Wellness Fund Health Plan
As the NBCRFLI, we recognise that at the heart of the Road Freight and Logistics Industry are people – the employees. The long hours, demanding schedules, and time away from home can take a toll on employees' health and well-being. That is why in 2011 we introduced the Wellness Fund Health Plan to safeguard the well-being Industry employees.
The NBCRFLI together with its Health Plan service provider, Affinity Health, work closely together to identify members' specific needs, thereby making this comprehensive plan responsive to their needs. The Wellness Fund Health Plan is available to active NBCRFLI members who are contributing to the Wellness Fund and meet the eligibility criteria.
