Secretariat Intern

Job Description

Provision of secretariat and administrative support services to the Council and its governance structures, including management committees, while continuously developing and strengthening the necessary skills, knowledge and expertise to effectively support these structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Council, EXCO, Council Committees and Management Committees Support: Assist in preparing board packs, drafting agendas, and taking accurate meeting minutes.
• Statutory Compliance: Assist in maintaining statutory records such as registers and others.
• Corporate Governance: Support the secretariat team in researching compliance frameworks, policies, and regulatory updates.
• Administrative Duties: Manage correspondence, organise records, and assist with general department logistics.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Public Administration, Public Management, Company Secretarial Studies (CIS), or a related discipline.

Related Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office.
