The improved wage agreement will mean better wages and improved basic medical insurance for road freight and logistics workers. We believe that the creation of a more equitable industry environment will help improve productivity.

We now find ourselves in the midst of wage negotiations and year-end payouts, a challenge to say the least, but with the planning efforts and resolve we are known for, these processes are sure to reach a successful conclusion.

It’s good to be back with you our cherished readers in this winter edition of Tseleng. When you read this, the 2010 FIFA World Cup will be over and the excitement would have died down, Bafana Bafana as we know did not make it far, but as a nation we rallied and continue to rally behind them - you make us proud Bafana! For some of us who were privileged enough to attend some of the matches, all we can say is well done to FIFA, the LOC, support staff and most importantly the fans from all over the world who made this auspicious occasion memorable!
